Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Flyer

Here is a flyer that I just finished up. I worked with Denise Friedl on this. She setup a fundraiser and collected donations for gift baskets to help raise money for finding a cure for breast cancer. Denise is very passionate about this and I was so glad I got to be apart of this to help out. I think the pink is very fitting :) Thanks Denise, you are truly inspirational!

Dan McNulty Business Cards

Here are Dan's cards. We actually met through facebook, social media is a great tool these days! Dan wanted to have a card that stood out from the rest. We used a spot uv on the backside over his logo to make it more glossy than the rest of the card. Dan also added the facebook, twitter and blogspot logos to the card - great idea to let everyone know that he can be located on those sites too. Thanks Dan!

Vietnam Veterans Association Rackcards

I also worked on these rack cards with Art and Larry from The Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter 1011. This is something for them to hand out at events and possibly mail in an envelope to get someone to join the chapter. They went from a black and white flyer to these. I think it was a great move!

Are you or were you in the military? Ask us about our military discount! Absolute Edge Design wants to thank you for serving our country!!

Raising Awareness for Tissue and Organ Donations

I recently worked with Karrie Ipatenco on a fundraiser flyer for Joshua McKnight. Karrie has been working with a few others on raising at least $50,000.00 for Josh, who has just had a multivisceral transplant. He received a small intestine, liver and pancreas all at once through organ donation. Josh is 30 years old and grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado. He recently had to move to Nebraska due to his circumstances.

Josh has been a family friend of mine for many years. Josh and my brother were close friends for many of those years and I've always looked at Josh like a brother. So when I found out he needed some support I jumped on the opportunity to help out with these flyers and was very honored to do so. We're not only helping out Josh by giving donations, we are raising support for organ and tissue donation.

If you would like to donate, all proceeds will go directly to Josh and his parents. Any size donation will help. Please get in contact with me and I will give you more details on how to do so. If you have a business and would like to donate any of your products to Josh, his mother or father, those would be greatly appreciated as well.

Lets all make a difference in someone's life. Here's to Josh and his road to recovery!

Arizona Bride Magazine

One of my Save the Date designs is featured in the fall/winter 2010 issue of Arizona Bride Magazine!

"Peared" for Life
Wit and whimsy underscore the message in this couple's "perfect pear" wedding theme. Inspired by her own wedding invites, designer Amy Foley used brown and green in harmony with the motif on paper with a metallic finish. The couple's save-the-date card, printed on ecru micah paper with a bronze backing, slides out of a "wicked green" envelope lined in bronze. Check it out! Pick up a copy at your local book store.

Tarascio Office Business Cards

This is one of a three part series. Billie Tarascio of Tarascio and Winship Access Legal Services was in need of an office card with appointment information on the backside. Billie's office makes legal services affordable to the general public. Needless to say, she's not your average attorney and she wanted a card that reflected that. They are professional looking with an edge and they look great!

I just got these cards back today from the printer. They are for an artist by the name of Rebecca Madincea. She designed this necklace for one specific program - Nourish the Children. With each necklace purchased, Rebecca donates a bag of VitaMeal through the program which in turn feeds a child in need 30 meals.

This is a great cause and I was so excited to be apart of this. Keep up the good work Michon!
